Privacy policy
What we collect
- Account: email, name, account type.
- Orders & event requests: items, pickup times, event address, attendees, messages.
- Truck owners: business details, permits and ownership documents (stored privately, visible only to the owner and platform reviewers).
- Truck location: only while an owner has tapped "Go live"; public only for active, approved trucks.
- Customer location: used in your browser to sort nearby trucks. It is not sent to or stored on our servers.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
Location permission and duration
We ask before requesting browser location permission. Customers can choose a city instead. Customer coordinates are used once, kept only in the current page, and cleared after 15 minutes or when leaving that page. We do not track activity in other apps.
Owners choose a live session of 1–12 hours and confirm before publicly sharing this device’s precise position as their truck location. Updates stop when the page is hidden or closed; the last location stays visible until the selected session expires or the owner goes offline. Owners must resume tracking explicitly when returning. Never broadcast from home. Historical truck location updates remain private to the owner and authorized platform reviewers; a retention/deletion policy still requires business review.
Sharing
Order details are shared with the truck you order from. We do not sell personal data.
Trend analysis and promotions
Authorized administration can request AI-assisted analysis of aggregate real paid-order counts and food-sales totals from the last 30 days. Time segments require at least five orders. Customer identities, messages, addresses, payment identifiers and location history are not sent to AI. Results are promotion drafts for review, not automatic personalized targeting or discounts. Adding the site to your Home Screen does not enable background location tracking.
Deletion
Request account deletion from Account → Delete account. We delete personal data except records we must keep by law (e.g. payment and tax records).
